Moving to Australia in 1989, she was mentored in oil painting by acclaimed Chinese artist, Fu Hong. She has exhibited widely in both group and solo exhibitions including at the Ecliptic Gallery, the Long Gallery of Montsalvat Art Centre and Eltham Library Gallery in Victoria and Main Street Gallery in Queensland.
Echo’s solo exhibition, Living in art, highlights three themes: street scenes, portraits and flowers. The street scenes focus on the streets of Brunswick but using an earthy Australian palette. The portraits combine Chinese characters with faces and the last series depict the wild colours of flora.
