Chris, along with his partner Mary-Lou, produce eye-catching stoneware underglazes in their Eltham studio. They share a strong sense of design, colour and ability to explore and be inspired by new approaches and ideas. Each has been awarded prizes for their work which is highly sought after.

Chris skillfully creates individually designed functional and decorative pieces.  As a painter he uses inner and outer surfaces of his ceramics as a canvas on which to paint scenes, wildlife and people.  He fashions rims of bowls, vases, plates with frilled, pinched, and wavy edges, and imaginatively coaxes his medium into interestingly designed sculptures
